SIMBA Chain, Inc. is paving the way for entrepreneurship and technological innovation in Marshall County by winning the 1st Source Bank Commercialization Award at Notre Dame's IDEA Week. The award honors companies for their exceptional research discoveries and the translation of these discoveries into marketable products and services.
 
SIMBA Chain was formed in 2017 by Indiana Technology and Manufacturing Companies (ITAMCO) and the Center for Research Computing at the University of Notre Dame in order to develop a secure, unhackable messaging and transaction platform for the United States military. Today, SIMBA’s cloud-based blockchain platform enables anyone to quickly deploy their applications with ease. The SIMBA team is made up of several software developers, engineers, researchers, and digital technology experts.
