North Central Indiana Competes for Regional Cities Initiative Grant10/09/2015 Indiana has one of the best business climates in the country. The need for sustainability drives our communities to raise the bar by improving quality of place. Thankfully, the Regional Cities Initiative (RCI) is focused on making quality of place a priority and equipped to provide the financial support necessary to do just that. On October 6th, 7 regions from across Indiana presented their long-term development plans aimed at creating talent-attracting environments in their communities. In the spirit of regional collaboration, Marshall County has joined St. Joseph and Elkhart counties to form the North Central Region. Of those who presented, 2 regions will be selected to receive a grant to fund their development plans. Grant recipients will be announced in December.
