New Chapter in Plymouth Unveiled

Residents, motorists, and visitors traveling in the City of Plymouth will be greeted with a new gateway sign as they enter the City. The sign was officially unveiled today at the city’s north entrance where a new roundabout leads to the US 31 interchange. City officials took a page out of the comprehensive plan playbook to focus on the quality of life recommendations within the plan. A new chapter for the city is marked by other recommendations beyond the new signage that have been adopted such as a new city logo and community branding.

Recent accolades speak to the quality of life improvements increasing the attractiveness for existing residents as well as those that are looking to move to a new community to raise young families.

  • Named 8th “Safest Place” in Indiana by ValuePenguin
  • Named 4th “Best Town in Indiana to Raise Family”, and 94th in U.S., by Niche

We have come to learn that each community in the county is taking steps to advance their own quality of life projects such as offering quality education, housing options for residents and implementing their own comprehensive plans.

MCEDC looks forward with great anticipation to other changes that the City of Plymouth has in the works!
