Hoosier Racing Tire Receives Half Century Business Award

Hoosier Racing Tire is celebrating 60 years in business this year, and on March 27th, the company was honored by Governor Eric Holcomb. During a ceremony at the Statehouse, Holcomb recognized 34 Indiana businesses with the Governor’s Century or Half Century Business Award. To qualify for the Governor’s Century and Half Century Business Awards, businesses have to have been in operation for at least 100 or 50 consecutive years and have demonstrated a commitment to community service.
Hoosier Racing Tire, a provider of racing tires both internationally and domestically, was founded in 1957 and today is recognized as the largest race tire manufacturer in the world. The award represents Hoosier Racing Tire’s longevity and commitment to Indiana's economy and workforce. MCEDC has been proud to work with Hoosier Tire on the Regional Cities program and quality of life initiatives that benefit all of Marshall County.
