Businesses Connect with Students at Made in Marshall County

Solving workforce development issues involves a myriad of strategies, one of which is connecting with future workers and familiarizing them with potential career paths. That is why businesses and schools recently came together for the 2nd annual “Made in Marshall County” event. Due to past success, this year’s Made in Marshall County was expanded to take place over two days and include 800 students from across Marshall County. On November 7th, participating businesses connected with students about their products, work place, and career paths, and the following day served as a job fair for businesses to discuss job openings and internships with high school seniors.
