Argos Encourages Business Attraction with Manufacturing Center

Manufacturing Centers, a new term for spec or shell buildings, are hugely beneficial in attracting businesses by providing a customizable building that speeds up the process for a business to become operational. In response to market demand, the Town of Argos will build a manufacturing center just south of Town, with a groundbreaking estimated to take place in August. The Argos Manufacturing Center is a joint partnership between the developer, MCEDC, and the Town of Argos. Through best practices in design and construction, the Argos Manufacturing Center will offer businesses a below market priced building with tons of flexibility which is a strategic advantage in the Indiana market. This development, located within a 75 acre Shovel Ready certified park, will be 50,000 square feet, expandable to up to 300,000 square feet, and include ceiling heights of 32 feet and access to high speed fiber. The Argos Manufacturing Center will be competitively priced to respond to the needs of companies looking to relocate. The building is expected to receive final approval for Regional Cities funding in the coming weeks.
