Culver Joins Indiana Main Street Program

The Town of Culver is now the 3rd Marshall County community to become Main Street certified in just the past year, joining Plymouth and Bremen in this distinction. On June 17th, Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch and the Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) announced Culver as the newest member of the Indiana Main Street Program. The announcement was made at the Culver Stellar Fest, which was held by the town to celebrate and raise support for Culver's status as a finalist in Indiana's Stellar Communities Designation Program.

The Main Street program encourages economic development, redevelopment, and improvement to downtown areas in Indiana cities and towns. Culver’s Main Street program is being headed by Culver Second Century, which is comprised of local business leaders and community members that collaborate with other local organizations to revitalize downtown Culver. It’s clear that Culver is headed in the right direction with recent recognitions such as this and becoming a Stellar finalist. Congratulations to Culver on this exciting development.
