AMI in Plymouth Honored for Growth Plans

Plymouth, IN - Aggressive Manufacturing Innovations, Inc. (AMI) in Plymouth was one of 16 companies recognized by Governor Pence today for a major expansion and contribution to Indiana's economic growth.

Last April, AMI announced plans to open their second manufacturing facility in the city.  AMI is expected to invest $4.2 million to equip and improve an existing 96,000 sq. ft. building, creating up to 250 jobs by 2015.

Founded in 2000, AMI is a privately-held manufacturer of metal tubular assemblies and systems, providing components for the automotive, heavy truck, agriculture, and construction industries. With three other manufacturing facilities in Michigan, one in Mexico, and with partners in Germany, Austria, Malaysia, and China, the company has experienced tremendous growth in recent years.
